The community mourns the sudden passing of beloved matriarch Fernanda C. Eiras

HAYWARD, CA – Waves of grief continue to reverberate throughout the local community following the sudden passing of beloved mother and grandmother Fernanda C. Eiras on December 8. Fernanda’s stunned family is now preparing being laid to rest their beloved matriarch.

Overall, Fernanda’s unexpected death left a heartbreaking void in the lives of the children and grandchildren she loved unconditionally. Described as the foundation of her close-knit family, Fernanda’s comforting presence can always be relied upon in both celebratory and challenging times.

As the community joined Fernanda’s mourning inner circle during this difficult time, everyone who encountered this exceptionally warm-hearted woman had similar feelings of high spirits. and her altruistic nature.

Whether she’s taking care of a sick neighbor, listening to someone’s problems over coffee, or working tirelessly on behalf of her church, Fernanda always goes out of her way to support others without Looking forward to receiving anything. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 27 from 3-5 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. John the Baptist at 264 E. Lewelling Blvd. in San Lorenzo, followed by the Rosary from 5-6 p.m. and the Funeral Mass at 6 p.m.

The following day, Thursday, December 28, the funeral service will continue with a visitation at the Holy Sepulcher – St. Michael’s Chapel at 1051 Harder Rd. in Hayward at 11 a.m., followed by burial at 1 p.m. at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. A reception will take place at 1:30 pm at BJM Hall, 21160 Ocean View Dr. in Hayward.

While the difficult journey of grief has just begun, Fernanda’s legacy of unwavering love and support for her family and community will be carried on by all who bask in the light. the warmth of her heart and her beautiful spirit.
